Congress wary of Maha allies; party chief accuses CM, Dy CM of ‘bugging’ him

The three-legged Maharashtra government seems to be not very stable at most times, with the three unlikely allies suspicious of one another. Not the Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole has accused the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra of spying on him and other leaders of his party. Notably, Congress is one of the three alliance partners in the MVA government. Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party are the other two allies. Patole claims every day at 9 am, Maharashtra Chief Minister (Uddhav Thackeray), Deputy Chief Minister (Ajit Pawar) and Home Minister (Dilip Walse-Patil) get reports of meetings convened by state Congress leaders. While Uddhav Thackeray is the Shiv Sena supremo, Ajit Pawar and Dilip Walse-Patil belong to the NCP. He claims the Shiv Sena and the NCP can sense that the ground is slipping from beneath their feet and so their suspicions.
