Noel Tata who was in the capital recently is known to be a simple man. The man around whom there has been much speculation seems to be quite unaffected by all the talk about his role as the future of the TATA group. He has been maintaining a low profile and is quietly carrying on with his responsibilities leaving others to do the guessing game on his behalf. He has the right surname and experience but keeps his head firmly placed on his shoulders. He could be the man to take the company into new heights. Noel is known to keep off any fuss and frills associated with hi-flyers like him. So much so that he mostly avoids taking private jets unless it’s really imperative and flies mostly in commercial airlines. He reminds one of Bennet Coleman VC Samir Jain who even flies economy from time to time. In the corporate world of Big Boys, people like Noel TATA stand out for their simplicity.
