Pak Ploy

It seems security at the FICCI office in Delhi has been beefed up following reports that a FICCI document on national security and terrorism has attracted the attention of the Pakistani foreign ministry. Ministry officials across the border are miffed with the report that clearly points out the role of the neighboring country in perpetuating terrorism in India. The report was recently handed to Home Minister P Chidambaram who has taken some key suggestion made by the report rather seriously. After talks of David Headley in the Indian media and pressure building in Pakistan, trashing Indian reports insinuating Pakistan’s role in terrorism seems to be yet another ploy by Pakistani officials to try and not let any of this stick. But no one is willing to take any more chances – FICCI is right in taking precautions.
