Former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s tenure was perhaps the most talked about presidential innings in Indian democracy. From his simple lifestyle to his unique hair-cut – everything commonplace made headlines when it came to the former President. Kalam who made his presence felt with his accessibility, interactive websites, launch of the kitchen museum (which hosts kitchen appliances and cutlery used by past Presidents) is now going to offer presidential tales for ordinary consumption. Kalam’s book titled My years as President is awaiting an early release next year. Kudos to a man who first created benchmarks as a scientist then as President and is now a prolific writer.
